Today is my Son in law Ryan's Birthday. Not long after they arrived in Malawi, he had the opportunity to pray for a pregnant woman who was very ill. He and Jen both did and the woman recovered and delivered a healthy baby boy. Ryan was then asked to name the baby. This is a Huge Honor in their country. Ryan gave it much prayer and counsel and named the baby David. It was one of my proudest moments. You can read the full story on their webpage. It was in their March 2007 newsletter.

What a sweet sweet picture. And the honor of naming a baby----well, the pressure of naming my own nearly did me in. Cannot imagine the stress of naming another's.
